The Design
This is a classically featured suit style pant. It has deep front tucks, volume plus and a great shape. A lot of love and attention has gone into the cut to offset and accentuate the pant size.
You have the option of patch or welt back-pockets. The sloped waistband sits lower at the front and rises to nestle into the small of your back.
Recommended Fabrics
The Terra pants can be made in a variety of fabrics to create different styles for your wardrobe.
Wool suiting, denim, mid to heavy weight cotton, velvet, corduroy, mid to heavy weight linen.
For softer fabrics like linen, a 200gsm weight or heavier is recommended. For lighter weight cottons use a tighter, crisper and hardier weave to provide stability.
For thicker fabrics, take into account this will absorb some of the ease in the waist. If your waist measurement is between sizes, consider going up a size.

The pattern is cut high in the waist, and the front waist tilts slightly forward to maintain a flat front with a long line into the small of your back. There is additional ease of 4cm in the finished waist for comfortable sitting and eating. The thigh front and depth is generous for an easy fit and slightly cropped to ankle lengt with a fully enclosed hem you can turn up or leave neat.
