Recommended Fabrics The jacket can be made in a wide range of woven fabrics depending on the look you want. For a casual look use a light or medium weight fabric; and for a more structured look use a heavier weight fabric. With the zipperless sweater the collar will need to be made of sufficiently stretchy fabric to pull over the head. The rest of the sweater could be made in a woven fabric.
