More exciting developments! PDF sewing patterns are back!
When I first (re)opened The Indie Stitches Emporium, I was focused on our paper patterns collection. I wanted to make sure we had a good range from our old favourites as well as refreshing the collection with designers we hadn't stocked before. So as well as restocking favourites like The Assembly Line and Tilly and the Buttons, I also began stocking new-to-us designers like Cousette and Maison Fauve. Over the last year, our collection has also grown to include designers like Puff and Pencil and SIZE:me.
As our pattern collection grew, the emails started flowing in, all of them asking the same thing. Will you be stocking PDF patterns?
PDF Sewing Patterns are Back!
Slowly but surely, our PDF sewing pattern collection is growing. We started with a new-to-us designer The Modern Sewing Co, who also has a few patterns available in paper format. Then came the gorgeous The Maker's Atelier, quickly followed by Sewing Patterns by Masin. And most recently, we've added Named Clothing, to complement their extensive paper pattern collection.
How do I Find PDF Sewing Patterns? And How do I Know if it's Paper or PDF?
All of the PDF sewing patterns are including in this list. If you are specifically looking for PDF sewing patterns, you can follow the link to PDF Patterns under the Pattern Counter link in the header menu.
You can also search by designer in the menu. Or use the search feature.
Where we stock both PDF and paper patterns of the same design, we have listed each of them separately. All PDF patterns are clearly marked in the heading and in the description.
Are PDF Patterns Easy to Use?
PDF sewing patterns are easy to download and to use, but if you've never used them before there are a few things to know. I have put together a page of the most commonly asked questions to help you get started.
Please note that while I'm always happy to answer your questions, I won't be able to provide specific technical advice about your computer or printer.
I'll be adding more patterns from the above designers in the next few weeks, as well as some new designers, so check back soon! I look forward to growing this corner of The Indie Stitches Emporium
